We are seeking a reliable and safety-minded Class B CDL driver to join our paving and concrete division team at Hall Contracting of Kentucky Inc.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to effectively communicate and alert to surroundings while working in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class B CDL license and at least two years of experience performing Class B CDL duties in the concrete and paving industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Abide by Company Safety Program and Policies in performing duties safely.
  • Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to road and weather conditions.
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip safety checks on equipment to ensure it is safe to operate.
  • Report any maintenance needs and damage to the supervisor.
  • Drive trucks classified as DOT and complete required paperwork.
  • Work in a team environment and communicate with others.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment

The employee will be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration while working in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Physical Demands

The employee must be able to sit for extended periods, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch on a daily basis. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.

Requirements
  • Must be 21 years old.
  • Two (2) years minimum of previous experience performing Class B CDL duties preferably in the concrete and paving industry.
  • Must have a valid Class B CDL license.
