About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. As a key member of our logistics department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of products to our clients across the state.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products to clients, inspecting the general condition of the vehicle, and preparing, loading, unloading, operating, and cleaning the vehicle while following all safety precautions in accordance with SGWS and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Product Delivery: Deliver statewide products to bars, restaurants, hotels, or other customer locations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Vehicle Inspection: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Payment Processing: Receive payment for goods delivered and process transactions accurately.
  • Merchandise Sorting: Sort merchandise by invoice for delivery to ensure correct products are delivered to the right customers.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalency plus 1 year of experience; must be Department of Transportation (DOT) certified; Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
  • Physical Demands: Physical demands include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine; occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 45lbs.

What You Need To Know

Estimated Salary: $27.40 per hour, based on the requirements of the role and the location.

Work Schedule: 12am-10am, Tues-Fri.
