Renovation Specialist

The Renovation Specialist is a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing the renovation and construction of inventory homes in our portfolio of communities. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Oversee the renovation and construction of inventory homes, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect progress, identify potential issues, and make recommendations for improvement.
• Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely completion and cost control.
• Collaborate with the Renovation Team Lead to determine proper scopes and scheduling of renovations.
• Inspect all inventory homes within the region for readiness status, identify repairs needed, and create scopes of work with estimated costs.
• Communicate with vendors, team members, and stakeholders to ensure accurate quotes, scheduling, and completion of work.
• Research and recommend building materials and suppliers to ensure the best quality and price.
• Compile weekly inventory reports, tasking, and purchase card reconciliations in a timely manner.
• Utilize technology to create, track, and report progress on all work orders, timesheets, and performance.

• High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license with 3 years of good driving history.
• Proficient in Excel, MS Office, Internet, and various computer and mobile device applications.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge and experience in rough and finish carpentry, plumbing, electrical, siding, flooring, painting, and home finishing.
• Energetic and positive with a sharp eye for detail.
• Must be safety and results-driven.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to travel up to 25%, with some weekends required.

Occasionally required to stand, occasionally required to walk, occasional exposure to outside weather conditions. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds, with or without assistance.

$24.00/Hr (Based on experience)
