Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Metal Fabrication Estimator to join our team at Randstad US. As a key member of our project planning process, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for structural and metal fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze project blueprints, specifications, and related documents to understand project scope and requirements.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment for structural and metal fabrication projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to assess project needs and potential risks.
  • Develop and maintain a database of historical project costs for use in future estimates.
  • Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and align with company objectives and client expectations.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting bids and proposals to clients.
  • Monitor and track project costs, comparing actual costs to estimates, and adjusting future estimates accordingly.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in metal fabrication estimation or a related field.
  • Experience with fabrication, estimation, and project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
