Rooftop Mixologist

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Bartender to join our team at LiLLiStar. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional Guest experiences while serving a variety of beverages in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Prepare the bar for service by stocking all necessary ingredients and supplies.
• Prepare and serve a range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wines.
• Engage with Guests to understand their preferences and make recommendations on food and beverage pairings.
• Ensure that all Guests receive exceptional service, including prompt and attentive service, accurate orders, and a clean and welcoming environment.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality food and beverage offerings.
• Stay up-to-date on current menu offerings, menu additions, and unavailable items to provide accurate information to Guests.
• Transmit orders to the kitchen and bar by recording patrons' choices and ringing in the correct items.
• Ensure that all orders are delivered in a timely manner, properly made, and with the correct accompaniments.
• Respond to additional Guest requests, involving a manager for unusual or difficult requests.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, and refilling water glasses.
• Properly describe, open, and pour beverages.
• Correctly obtain payment by totaling charges, issuing bills, and returning change or credit card and signature slips to Guests.
• Retrieving signed credit card or room charge slips prior to Guest departure and thanking them for their visit.
• Contribute to team effort by assisting other staff as time allows.
• Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by management.
• Fill in for absent staff as needed.
• Assist with special events as needed.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
• Promptly address Guest service issues and refer to management when necessary.

• Previous bartending experience is required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are required.
• Positive interpersonal skills are required.
• Must speak English fluently.
• Physically able to carry 35 pounds; able to stand, bend, and move throughout shift.
• Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.
• Works well and efficiently under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of staff and management.
