Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technician to join our team as a Traveling Medical Imaging Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using various medical imaging modalities, including ultrasound, echocardiography, and other related equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound, echocardiography, and other medical imaging modalities.
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and equipment, with a strong commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
