Senior Auditor

The Senior Auditor is responsible for conducting high and moderate risk audits of the Bank and Holding Company, including financial, operations, compliance, wealth management, and Sarbanes-Oxley audits. This role involves process analysis, key control analysis, and walkthroughs to identify findings and provide recommendations for improvement. The Senior Auditor will also serve as the in-charge or manager of internal audits, outsourced audits, and various Audit Department tasks, providing training and guidance to Staff Auditors and Interns.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct high and moderate risk audits of the Bank and Holding Company, including financial, operations, compliance, wealth management, and Sarbanes-Oxley audits.
- Perform process analysis, key control analysis, and walkthroughs to identify findings and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare formal audit reports for internal audits.
- Serve as the in-charge or manager of internal audits and outsourced audits.
- Provide training and guidance to Staff Auditors and Interns.
- Prepare risk assessments for the risk-based audit plan.
- Perform special projects for the Audit Department, as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 4 years of internal audit experience in banking and/or financial services is required. Professional certification, such as CBA, CFSA, CIA, CRP, or CPA, is preferred. The successful candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills, accurate, detail-oriented, and organized, with effective prioritization skills.
