Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for continuously monitoring patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs, providing critical assessments and prompt interventions when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and other vital signs for patients in the telemetry unit.
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Requirements
  • 2 years' experience with travel or 3 years' experience with no travel.
  • Compact or TN License at time of submittal.
  • Must live at least 100 miles from facility.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine.
  • Flu Vaccine.
