POSITION SUMMARY:
In alignment with established standards of care and adhering to the corporate philosophy of OSF HealthCare, the advanced practice nurse or physician assistant will be accountable for delivering exceptional patient care to the clientele of OSF.
This role involves providing comprehensive Advanced Practice services while ensuring the consistency and quality of all offerings to the Practice and its patients.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records is essential, including documentation of all examinations, procedures, and other services conducted by the Provider or associated support staff.
It is crucial to exercise prudence in assisting the Ministry CEO in managing the Practice's costs effectively while upholding a high standard of care for patients.
Delivering a genuinely personalized, patient-focused experience is a priority, aligning with the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served by the Practice and OSF Hospital.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The candidate must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is suitable for the age groups of the patients served.
Licensure to provide advanced practice nursing services in the State of Illinois as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act OR licensure for physician assistant services as issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation in accordance with the Illinois Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987. Additionally, the candidate must be licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois for the prescription of narcotics.
BLS/ALS Certification is required. Experience is preferred; however, new graduates will be considered.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
