Key Responsibilities
  • Provide health and safety expertise to maintain established successful programs
  • Identify, design, and implement creative programs, solutions, and communication tools
  • Audit and inspect facilities for compliance with company safety policies and applicable regulations
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative hazard assessments to include exposure monitoring for physical and chemical agents
  • Support the site's environmental, safety, health, and fire protection programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in occupational health and safety (or 3 years with a Master's Degree)
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA, NIOSH, ANSI, NEC, NFPA regulations and standards
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant work experience in an aerospace or laboratory environment
  • CIH Certified Industrial Hygienist
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint programs

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $84,200 - $126,400 (or $104,400 - $156,600 for the Sr. Principal position) and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off.
