Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neurovascular team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a key member of our medical surgical unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with neurovascular conditions, including stroke and cerebral aneurysm patients.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and advancements in neurovascular care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • Current National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire.
  • At least one year of nursing experience, preferably in a medical surgical or neurovascular setting.
