- Oversee the safe and effective management of a long-term care patient unit and/or nursing department shift.
- Coordinate and direct the activities of assigned personnel while ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to nursing practice in the performance of assigned responsibilities.
- Administer and document medications according to physician directives and established facility policies; monitor and record patient vital signs and collect lab specimens as required.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
To qualify for this position, candidates must:
- Hold a valid Registered Nurse license from the Georgia State Nursing Board.
