RPh on the Go is seeking a skilled Sterile Compounding Specialist to join our Home Infusion Pharmacy team. As a specialist in IV compounding, you will play a vital role in preparing life-changing medications for patients in need.

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards. You will be working in a state-of-the-art clean room environment, utilizing your expertise in sterile compounding procedures to prepare IV antibiotics and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare IV medications and solutions in a sterile clean room environment.
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and verifying infusion medications.
  • Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to sterile compounding guidelines.
  • Ensure proper labeling and packaging of compounded products.
  • Maintain inventory and uphold clean room standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician with IV compounding expertise.
  • A valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Strong proficiency in sterile compounding procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards.
