Welder Craftsman

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabricator Specialist to join our team at Conner Brother Machine Co., Inc.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year (based on experience)

This is an excellent opportunity for a Fabricator Specialist to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for performing various welding and fabrication tasks.

Key Tasks:

1. Read blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirements and proper fit-up
2. Operate welding equipment, including connecting cables and adjusting settings as specified by engineer
3. Perform manual guidance of electrode or gun along weld line to achieve desired results
4. Examine welds for quality and accuracy
5. Repair damaged parts and fill holes as needed
6. Position and clamp workpieces together or assemble them in jigs or fixtures
7. Select appropriate welding materials and tools based on project requirements
8. Tack assemblies together and remove excess weld, slag, and spatter
9. Clean and degrease parts as required
10. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment
11. Move parts in and out of the welding area as needed
