Job Title: Plumber

We are seeking experienced plumbers to join our team at ECM Holding Company.

Job Summary

As a plumber with ECM, you will be responsible for the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures for drainage and water systems.

This role requires up to 90% travel on projects that can last up to 2 weeks or longer. The company pays travel-related expenses.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and repair broken pipes and clogged drains
  2. Remove old plumbing fixtures to install new low-flow fixtures
  3. Utilize hand tools to fit valves, couplings, and components for tanks, pumps, or other plumbing systems
  4. Dig trenches and install pipes and piping fixtures for water, irrigation, or sewage systems
  5. Mount hangers and brackets on walls to provide support for pipes
  6. Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
  7. Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes to required angles using measurement tools
  8. Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and initiate repairs
  9. Liaise with contractors and other construction workers to ensure an effective plumbing system
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • General plumbing knowledge required
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional plumbing experience, either residential or commercial
  • Completion of a vocational school certificate program, associate degree, or apprenticeship preferred
  • Able to read technical designs and blueprints
  • Proficient with plumbing tools, materials, and equipment
  • Driver's license
  • Ability to travel
Work Environment

While performing the essential functions of this position, the plumber will be subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions, including exposure to extreme cold, heat, and humidity.

Exposure to dusty, noisy job site conditions, fumes, and some chemicals.
