We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse III to join our team. This role requires a high level of clinical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
About the Job- Job Title: Critical Care Nurse Specialist
- Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per year
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional who wants to make a difference in the lives of patients and families. As a Critical Care Nurse III, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients, leading interdisciplinary teams, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher, current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina, and at least one year of critical care experience. We also require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and the ability to obtain relevant professional certifications within the probationary period.
Responsibilities- Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients with complex problems, identifying physical, psychosocial, and educational needs, and developing plans to address these needs.
- Care Planning: Collaborate with patients and families to develop individualized care plans that prioritize their goals and preferences.
- Evaluation: Regularly evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed, and maintaining accountability for carrying out components of the plan.
- Leadership: Demonstrate clinical leadership skills through contribution to standards of care and unit goals, serving as a role model for other staff, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher
- At least one year of critical care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Able to obtain relevant professional certifications within the probationary period
