About the Role:

ACRT, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vegetation Management Specialist to join our team. As a Consulting Utility Forester, you will be responsible for identifying, inspecting, and evaluating trees and brush along utility lines. Your expertise will be utilized to submit inspection results to clients with recommendations, plan and direct tree clearance crews, and serve as a liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of trees and brush along utility lines
  • Submit inspection results to clients with recommendations for vegetation management
  • Plan and direct tree clearance crews to ensure efficient and effective vegetation management
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, tree crews, and client customers to ensure seamless communication and coordination

Requirements:
  • 2-year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science, or a closely related field
  • Vegetation management experience preferred
  • ISA Certified Arborist is preferred
  • Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working with GIS integrated data collection software/hardware preferred but not required
