Job Overview

The NYS Office for People With Developmental Disabilities seeks a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality nursing services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Salary and Benefits

Job Description
  • Monitor the health status of individuals and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Administer medications and treatments, order medications and medical supplies, and review physician's orders.
  • Complete semi-annual nursing summaries and attend reviews, file medical reports, and ensure follow-up and tracking of medical appointments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A license and current registration to practice as a practical nurse in New York State, or a limited permit to practice as a practical nurse in New York State, or an application on file for a limited permit to practice as a practical nurse in New York State.
  • A valid Driver's license and dependable transportation.
