At Comprehensive Care, our caregivers represent the heart of our service. As a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA, your role will be to provide compassionate care to the elderly, disabled, and those who are unable to care for themselves. Your primary focus will be to prioritize the needs of the clients and perform your duties with exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as outlined in their personalized care plans. These activities may include bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, toileting, transferring, eating, and continence care.
  2. Support clients with medication management, housekeeping tasks, laundry, meal preparation, feeding, shopping, and transportation to appointments, while also providing companionship.
  3. Carry out additional household tasks as specified in the client's care plan.
  4. Document daily activities and report to your supervisor through the agency management system and daily logs. Utilize other communication methods as necessary, including phone calls and face-to-face interactions.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA at Comprehensive Care, you will also be expected to:

  • Practice safety in all interactions with clients.
  • Be capable of lifting or pushing weights up to 50 pounds.
  • Exhibit honesty, accountability, and integrity in all tasks.
  • Deliver superior care to clients.
  • Remain alert to any changes in clients' conditions or potential care concerns.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with company policies.
  • Be punctual for shifts and adhere to scheduling protocols.
  • Report any suspected abuse or neglect immediately as required by law.
  • Document any unusual behaviors, events, or conditions.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding client records and communications.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions as requested.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.
  • Ensure the protection of confidential information in compliance with company and HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
