Job Summary

This is a full-time position working 12-hour shifts, including weekends and on-call rotations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in CT scanning and be proficient in operating CT equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and immobilization
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and scan results
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification in CT scanning (AART or equivalent)
  • 1 year of experience in CT scanning, with a minimum of 6 months in a hospital setting
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with neonatal, infant, and pediatric CT scanning
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification
