Nurse Practitioner

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in our team, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide individualized patient-centered care to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research, nursing policies, and standards of care to ensure safe and excellent delivery of patient care. Communicate effectively with patients, nursing colleagues, and other healthcare team members regarding patient status, rendered care, and treatment plans. Optimize patient/guest satisfaction and care experience according to Hackensack Meridian Health standards. Administer medications utilizing the latest clinical documentation technology to ensure the safest delivery of medications to patients. Provide patient and family-centered care aimed at optimizing health, wellness, and disease management. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage patient plans of care and goals from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning and continuum of care.
Qualifications:
A current and valid New Jersey Registered Nurse license is required. BLS/CPR certification by the American Heart Association is required. At least one year of RN experience is required. At least one year of working in an outpatient setting, preferably in an outpatient primary care or specialty office setting as an RN, is required. Ability to confidently administer vaccines to pediatric patients is required. Must be able to provide care to adults, including obstetrics, medical, and gynecological care. Ability to demonstrate rapid assessment skills for a wide range of adult conditions and provide care coordination to a variety of patient populations is highly desired. Ability to respond to a high volume of patients in an outpatient setting is required. The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork and flexibility, dedication to ongoing education, and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of patient-centered education are all required.
