About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides or Personal Care Assistants at Right at Home Chattanooga. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients, providing essential care and support to help them maintain their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and light housekeeping.
  • Prepare meals and assist with self-administered simple urine tests for sugar, acetone, or albumin.
  • Take vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure.
  • Assist with application of arm slings, arm splints, or leg splints.
  • Perform other assigned activities, including reinforcement of dressings, assisting with the use of devices for aid in daily living, and assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Six months of caregiving experience preferred.
  • Successful completion of a Competency Evaluation that meets the State licensing law for home health agencies.
  • Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job and have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.
  • Current CPR Certificate is recommended but not mandatory.
  • Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
  • Valid driver's license and use of an insured automobile for work.
