Job Overview

Kilcoy Global Foods is seeking a highly skilled FSQA Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance structure, you will play a critical role in ensuring our facility maintains compliance and stays audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Approval Program: Develop and execute an effective supplier approval program, including uploading, reviewing, and partnering with Procurement to request new documentation as needed.
  • Customer Complaint and CAPAs: Assign risk ratings to customer/consumer complaints, assist in or perform investigations, and provide effective corrective actions.
  • Auditing: Conduct routine internal facility and SQF systems audits, assign action items or internal CAPAs, and follow up with close outs.
  • Support Quality Management System: Create and modify submission forms, monitor KPIs, and report out on key metrics such as hold/disposals, customer/consumer complaints, and environmental monitoring.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in the food industry, preferably in cooked/RET operations.
  • Knowledge of GMPs, SPC, HACCP, OSHA, USDA regulations, and Food Microbiology.
  • Possession of HACCP or PCQI Certification, SPC Certification, and experience with SQF, Tracegains, Safetychain, and Repositrak.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
