We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Cath Lab Tech to join our team at Methodist Hospital Westover Hills. As a key member of our Cardiac Cath Lab team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians in obtaining and entering data into the Physiologic Monitoring System for accurate assessment of left and/or right-sided Hemodynamic pressure measurements.
- Identify cardiac structures, coronary vasculature, and associated disease processes.
- Practice radiation safety and observe all principles to ALARA.
- Accurately report Ejection Fraction by demonstrating proficiency in the assessment of Cardiac function, utilizing Left Ventricular Analysis program(s).
- Ensure that Angiographic and procedural data is properly archived for long-term storage.
- Verify the presence of all components of procedure information in both hard copy and computerized formats.
- High School graduate or GED.
- One year full-time Invasive Cardiovascular Technology experience, or an Associate Degree or equivalent college hours in health, science, natural science, nursing, engineering, or any primary science or higher.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, or RCIS (Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
