Patient Access Coordinator

At South East Alaska Regional Health Consortium, we are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team.
Salary: $25.00 - $30.04 per hour
Job Description: Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients and family members at the designated facility.
- Check patients in and out for appointments and schedule follow-up appointments as needed or directed.
- Collect demographic, financial, and insurance information and accurately enter it into the electronic health record to provide prompt and accurate billing.
- Accept point-of-service payments and provide guidance for payment options.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of office experience or medical office experience preferred.
- Knowledge of general office functions, office equipment, and computer applications.
- Skilled at data entry with a high degree of accuracy and detail orientation.
- Time management, organization, and customer service skills.
- Verbal and written communication abilities.
