Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional care and support to our patients in Wylie, Texas. As a valued member of our team at Hammond Home Health, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist patients with meal preparation and feeding, as needed.
- Support patients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Engage patients in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being, such as conversation, reading, and entertainment.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in personal care or healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
