Job Title: Fuel Attendant Technician

Ryder is seeking a skilled Fuel Attendant Technician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our fueling facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fuel, wash, and detail vehicles to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Perform multi-point inspections on inbound units to identify any service issues
  • Record fuel activity and maintain accurate fuel and DEF inventories
  • Move heavy-duty vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as tire repairs, under close supervision
  • Maintain the fuel island area to Six Sigma standards and perform facility maintenance tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Two years or more of related work experience, preferred
  • Proficiency in English written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and ability to understand customer communication
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Understanding of computer hardware and software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email
  • High degree of thoroughness and dependability
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including shift work, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A preferred
