Key Responsibilities:
  • Atmosphere and Patient Care: Create a calming and amiable presence to reassure patients and establish a sense of comfort.
  • Screenings and Health History: Perform oral screenings and assess patients' oral health histories to identify potential oral health conditions.
  • Dental Cleanings and Examinations: Administer comprehensive dental prophylaxis and oral examinations for patients of all ages.
  • Patient Education: Instruct patients on optimal oral hygiene practices and preventive strategies.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) preferred but not required.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to meet job demands.
  • Attitude and Knowledge: Resourceful, "can-do" attitude with a heart to serve others and lead by example. In-depth knowledge of dental health, oral hygiene, and periodontal care.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in computer usage, including dental charting systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy, and a steadfast dedication to delivering patient-centered care.
