Position Summary

The Client Service Coordinator (CSC) plays a crucial role in managing the flow of clients and their pets within the veterinary facility. The CSC enhances the efficiency of the veterinary team by ensuring effective communication and coordination of care, fostering a welcoming and friendly environment that encourages client loyalty and referrals.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Embody and promote the core values of our organization.
  2. Attract new clients by effectively communicating our services and managing client flow to optimize care.
  3. Maximize the number of pets seen by our veterinary team through efficient operations that support our wellness plan clients.
  4. Deliver exceptional service consistently, which includes welcoming clients and pets, ensuring their comfort, and providing education on pet health.
  5. Inform clients about wellness plans, preventive care, and available services.
  6. Assist new clients with necessary documentation and ensure accurate pet information is recorded.
  7. Provide outgoing clients with comprehensive instructions, invoices, and schedule future appointments.
  8. Oversee financial transactions, maintaining accurate records and following proper procedures.
  9. Perform administrative tasks as required.
  10. Other responsibilities as assigned.

Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work at a computer for extended periods and to be comfortable around various animals. The role may demand more than 40 hours per week, including weekends and evenings. Exposure to pets may occur, and the associate may encounter various working conditions.

Qualifications

  1. Open availability is essential, as shifts may vary throughout the week.
  2. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  3. Must be at least 18 years old for specific duties.
  4. A minimum of one year of related experience, particularly in customer service, is required.
  5. A background in medical fields (veterinary, healthcare, pharmaceutical) with knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous.
