Chemtall, a division of SNF Holding Company, is actively looking for Packaging Operators. This entry-level role is situated within one of our Emulsion Production Facilities. The Packaging Operator will be tasked with production support, product sampling, packaging, and handling of Emulsion products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and resolve issues with packaging machinery.
  • Understand and complete all necessary documentation, including communication boards, standard operating procedures, and quality visuals.
  • Accurately record and maintain data such as Log Sheets, Weight Sheets, and/or Blend Sheets.
  • Operate forklifts and perform required forklift inspections.
  • Prepare product samples as needed.
  • Ensure proper packaging and labeling of finished products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Recognize and comprehend the properties and hazards associated with chemicals.
  • Demonstrate the ability to meet or exceed production targets and standards.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned, which may include training others, sanitation duties, labor and production reporting, and participation in safety committees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to work overtime, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to multi-task, learn quickly, and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Physical capability to lift a minimum of 55 lbs during an 8 to 12-hour shift.
