Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage patient care in a medical assistant capacity, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
  • Provide telephone triage services, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care, including taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and communicating with patients and families.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, procedures, and surgeries, ensuring accurate and timely scheduling.
  • Process patient referrals, maintain accurate records, and communicate with payers and other healthcare providers as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance patient satisfaction and care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Medical Assistant training program or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of experience in a business office environment, preferably in healthcare.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly from oral and written instructions.
  • Typing skills and proficiency in medical terminology.
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting, as well as occasional kneeling and stair climbing. The ability to see, hear, talk, and use both hands is essential.

Maintain compliance with training directives required by Health Catalyst, adhering to the Acceptable Use Policy and HIPAA Privacy and Security guidelines.
