Job Summary

Madison County Wood Products, Inc. is seeking a skilled Log Hauler to join our team. As a Log Hauler, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting logs from various sites to our mill.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive truck and trailer to haul logs from sites to mill, adhering to all safety regulations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading logs, operate picker, and ensure load is properly secured.
  • Inspect tractor trailer and equipment for defects and safe operating condition before and after trips.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance to ensure fluid levels and tire pressures are maintained.
  • Hold a valid Class A Driver's License with no manual restrictions, current DOT physical examination card, and clean DMV record.
Requirements:
  • Log hauling experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Compensation:

$20-$25 hourly wage.
