Company Overview:

The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Operations Analyst to join our team.

About the Role:

This position will be responsible for providing data-driven insights to inform strategic business decisions across 13 clinical divisions. As a key member of our operations team, you will work closely with administrators, faculty, and department chairs to develop and implement comprehensive business plans, project management initiatives, and quality improvement programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or MedVitals to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
  • Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement data visualization tools and reporting systems
  • Lead and manage projects that support operational and strategic goals, including creating detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Work with divisional administrators to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and monitor progress against established metrics
  • Develop and present financial analyses and business plans to executive leadership committees for approval and funding decisions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare operations, project management, or business analytics
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of information systems, revenue cycle, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and present findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Salary:

$100,000 - $128,300 annually, depending on experience
