Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist federal staff in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance with security regulations.
  • Implement existing security directives and make recommendations to resolve unique and complex security problems by coordinating with senior security specialists.
  • Conduct reviews and provide recommendations for approval of the contracting checklist required for all classified contracts.
  • Track trend data, draft reports, and produce incident reports if violations occur.
  • Expertly apply knowledge of government policies and regulations governing security suitability and eligibility, including Federal Investigative Standards (FIS), Executive Orders (E.O. 13526 and 10450, Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs), Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs), Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 704, and other guidelines to make appropriate adjudication recommendations.
  • Expertly apply knowledge of NISPOM and DHS/CISA security standards.
  • Knowledge of the DD Form 254 Lifecycle, including reviewing, drafting the form, and requesting approval.
  • Expert knowledge of the National Interest Determination and Foreign Ownership Control and Influence evaluation.
  • Understanding of advancements in National Security, Critical Infrastructure protection, interagency security, industrial, personnel, and system security.

Requirements:

  • Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Four years of work experience in industrial security administration.
  • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office, etc., excellent written and oral communication, risk-management, and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:

The work is performed in an office environment. The employee is required to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. The employee is required to use a computer throughout the workday.
