Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at RadNet Los Angeles. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiologic and CT exams on incoming patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform high quality radiologic and CT exams on incoming patients.
- Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.
- Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
- Guide patients through the exam process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- Demonstrate competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Safeguard any on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
- Be responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
- Demonstrate respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
- Demonstrate ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrate ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Requirements:
- Genuinely passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgment and an ability to remain professional in all situations.
- Able to demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect with patients, guests, & colleagues.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a knack for prioritizing work with a structured approach, and enjoy solving complex problems.
Certifications and Qualifications:
- State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT).
- BLS certification depending on state regulations.
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $41.00 - $48.00 per hour. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
