Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Critical Care Therapist, you will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor various respiratory therapies and patient care to patients of all ages.
- Perform mechanical ventilation and other respiratory modalities as needed.
- Document and chart all therapy according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other disciplines to facilitate patient care.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional attitude.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in critical care.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in relevant software systems.
Licenses/Certifications:
You must hold:
- A current State of Florida License as a Certified Respiratory Therapist, CRT or Respiratory Care Practitioner in Critical Care, or RCPCC.
- BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- PALS certification within 30 days upon hire.
- NRP certification within 60 days upon hire.
