Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Lecturer in Music to join our team at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching various courses in Music, including in-person and online classes.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Music courses, including lectures, discussions, and performances
  • Develop and implement course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Music or a related field
  • Significant experience in teaching Music or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Music or a related field
  • Experience teaching online courses
  • Knowledge of music technology and software
