Position Summary:
The Production Assembler is responsible for meticulously preparing materials or assembling components in designated trays, ensuring that all trays are wrapped according to the specifications outlined in the work order documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Precisely prepares materials or assembles components in trays, adhering to the specifications detailed in the work order packet.
- Collaborates effectively within a team environment to complete final packaging tasks as per the work order instructions.
- May receive cross-training for the Warehouse Associate I role as required.
- Achieves daily production targets while maintaining a strong focus on detail in all tasks performed.
- Engages in product preparation or boxing into containers with a high level of attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Must consistently adhere to company policies and safety protocols.
- Ability to provide and accept constructive feedback; contributes positively to team dynamics.
- Demonstrates respect for colleagues; works with integrity and upholds organizational values.
- Basic computer proficiency is essential for this role.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
- Must demonstrate understanding of written English by successfully completing unassisted written assessments, including Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
Physical Demands:
This role necessitates physical activities such as bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35lbs as part of the daily responsibilities. The employee must be capable of sitting, listening, speaking, and writing/typing repeatedly while fulfilling the essential duties of the position.
