Job Summary

Medline Industries is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the timely and accurate production of finished goods and ensure the delivery of product to customers. This role requires strong leadership and coordination skills to maintain inventory integrity and ensure overall quality of finished goods produced.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate raw material through finished goods processing using Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory functions.
  • Monitor production scheduling and coordinate resources to meet production schedule and waste targets, ensuring overall quality of finished goods produced.
  • Create process paperwork and ensure completion of all required functions to ensure receipt of finished goods in the warehouse, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory functions.
  • Ensure integrity of product components and finished goods, and assist production and warehouse operations as necessary when manpower shortages exist.
  • Develop and mentor staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities, and performance management processes, building and maintaining employee morale and motivation, and ensuring the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years supervisory experience in a high-speed manufacturing facility environment, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing non-exempt employees.
  • Ability to follow involved instructions, troubleshoot issues, schedule, organize, coordinate, train, and prepare operating procedures with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 years of previous supervisory experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing non-exempt employees.
