Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Transportation Specialist to join our team at Core Mark. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Unload Products: Safely transport and deliver products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders.
  • Operate Company Vehicles: Drive company vehicles, including straight trucks and vans, to transport products to customers.
  • Communicate with Customers: Interact with customers to resolve any issues or concerns related to delivery or product quality.
  • Maintain Vehicle and Equipment: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Meet Safety and Regulatory Requirements: Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements, including Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • 6-12 Months of Experience: Required.
  • Non-Commercial Driver's License: Required.
  • Meet Medical Requirements of the DOT: Required.
  • Successful Driving Experience: Preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ Years of Experience in the Food Service Industry: Preferred.
  • OSHA Forklift Operator Certificate: Preferred.
