Soliant is seeking a skilled School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to students with communication disorders. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to address their needs.
- Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in group settings, using evidence-based practices and techniques to promote effective communication.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure seamless communication and support for students' communication needs within the classroom environment.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions in school-based speech-language pathology, and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
- Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience: Experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations.
