ATech Placement is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in both functional and automated testing for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will possess over 3 years of practical experience utilizing the Selenium Webdriver test automation tool, along with proficiency in programming languages such as Javascript, Typescript, Java, Python, Ruby, and/or C#.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and uphold automated testing scripts utilizing a robust test automation framework.
  • Draft and sustain comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases based on detailed specifications and requirements for complex mobile and desktop software projects.
  • Conduct both manual and automated testing, identifying, documenting, and communicating any discrepancies found during the testing phase. Manage software defects within the defect tracking system.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges through effective debugging, research, and analysis.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Technical Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of functional QA experience.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Selenium Webdriver test automation tool.
  • Proficient in development using Javascript, Typescript, Java, Python, Ruby, and/or C#.
  • Capability to design and implement test automation frameworks and integrate them with continuous integration systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of testing web-based applications, along with familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), quality standards, and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with HR, Payroll, Time, and Onboarding applications is advantageous.
  • Extensive experience in testing iOS and Android native applications.
  • Strong background in Agile development environments.
  • Experience with Gherkin for writing test cases and a solid grasp of Cucumber usage.
  • Familiarity with various automation tools such as Playwright, Protractor, and Appium for mobile interaction.
  • Good knowledge of web services using REST; familiarity with SOAP is a plus.
