Job Overview

Blue Line Security Solutions is seeking a diligent and trustworthy individual to join our team as an Unarmed Security Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our client's property, personnel, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regularly patrol assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activities.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect and address any suspicious behavior or security breaches.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of the premises to ensure all doors, windows, and access points are secure.
  • Respond swiftly to requests for assistance or emergencies, including medical incidents, disturbances, and accidents.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of security incidents, disturbances, and other significant activities during your shifts.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries, directions, and other needs.
  • Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations to maintain security standards and ensure compliance.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance your knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and relevant laws.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a security officer or guard.
  • Completion of a 20-hour state certification and possession of a PERC Card.
  • Strong knowledge of legal regulations regarding security and public safety.
  • Experience with report writing.
  • Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • Reliable Transportation.
  • High School diploma is required; further education in security administration or a similar field is preferred.
