Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy.
- Develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders, utilizing clinical judgment and expertise.
- Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs, promoting seamless care coordination.
- Act as a vital member of patients' medical neighborhoods, working closely with various providers and disciplines to ensure comprehensive care.
- Meet deadlines for patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and other paperwork as required.
- Participate in regular meetings with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
- A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
- An innovative spirit, complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability and adaptability.
- Flexibility to adjust priorities and resources as needed, based on the needs of the business.
- Ability to use common workplace technology, including laptop computers, phones, email, and web browsers.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience in a home-health setting.
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties, such as VitalStim, SOS, or SOFFI.
