Cath Lab Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital. As a Cath Lab RN, you will provide direct patient care in a technically complex environment, responding to life-threatening situations and handling critical and highly stressful situations with efficiency and composure.
Responsibilities- Prepare the environment, orient and assess patients, and review medical records to ensure safety checklists are complete.
- Respond to life-threatening situations, utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment.
- Provide nursing care in a technically complex environment, evaluating learning needs of patients and/or families, and providing patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, taking appropriate action and making decisions with minimal supervision.
- Credentials: Registered Nurse, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program, or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
- Experience: 6 months of RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
