Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team at Performance Food Group. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering food and food-related products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck to deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Unload products from the trailer and transport them to designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures as required.
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required and load customer returns onto the trailer.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL A license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
  • Pass road test.
  • Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ years commercial driving experience.
  • Food service distribution industry experience.
  • Onboard computer and electronic log system experience (i.e. PeopleNet).
  • Hand-held point of delivery scanning system experience (i.e. POD).
