Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist Lead to join our team at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex ultrasound and vascular procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and leading a team of technologists to achieve optimal department results.

• Perform high-quality ultrasound and vascular procedures, including common and special exams, to capture accurate images and provide diagnostic information.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
• Lead and mentor a team of technologists, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure they meet departmental standards and expectations.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, quality outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in departmental projects and shared governance activities to drive innovation and excellence in patient care.

• Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s).
• Four years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with leadership abilities.
• Current certifications in RDMS-OB, RDMS-AB, or ARRRT-SON, and ARRRT-VS, or RVT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
