- Incident Response: Manage incident response processes, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of cloud-related issues.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans for AWS environments.
- Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud costs, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant professional training are a plus.
- Experience: Good experience in system administration, and in a cloud operations & DevOps.
- Skills: Proficiency in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, etc.) and Azure services (VMs, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, etc.).
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record of managing and optimizing large-scale AWS environments.
- Automation and IaC Tools: Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
- Scripting Skills: Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
- Containerization Technologies: Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Network Configurations: Understanding of network configurations, firewalls, VPN, and load balancers in a cloud environment.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
- Security Specialty: AWS Certified Security – Specialty
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Teamwork and Proactivity: Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude towards achieving project goals.
