Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Liaison to join our team at Gila River Health Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of Behavioral Health Services provided to clients and residents, while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage clients/residents in a therapeutic relationship through availability, listening, and culturally appropriate assessment.
  • Conduct ongoing clinical assessments of client/resident and family needs.
  • Work with families to identify and prioritize goals, identify solutions, and provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling as needed.
  • Perform case management functions, including advocacy, care coordination, and collaboration with medical healthcare providers.
  • Monitor eligibility status with AHCCCS and initiate action to re-instate eligibility as needed.
  • Notify management of all significant issues affecting clients/residents and take steps necessary to ensure full resolution.
  • Demonstrate ability to clearly communicate both orally and in writing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or closely related field of study from an accredited university or college; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in a Behavioral Health Services capacity required.
  • Current Arizona license LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LISAC, LMSW, LAC, LAMFT, LBSW, or LASAC in good standing with AZBBHE required.
  • State of Arizona driver's license with no significant violations during the last 5 years.
  • Current State of Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
  • Current and continuing CPR and AED training and certifications required.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures and community health services.
