We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a travel assignment in Montgomery, Alabama. This role requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in respiratory therapy.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and therapies.
- Continuously monitor and assess patient respiratory conditions, making necessary adjustments to treatments.
- Effectively operate and troubleshoot various respiratory equipment, including ventilators and medication dispensing systems.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Must be an NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Possession of a current Alabama Respiratory Therapist license is mandatory.
- Certifications in BLS and NRP are required; ACLS/APLS certifications are preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the field of respiratory therapy is essential.
- Familiarity with Cerner or Epic EMR systems is required.
- Experience with medication dispensing systems (such as Omnicell) and monitoring equipment (like Spacelabs) is necessary.
- Knowledge of ventilators including PB 840, PB 980, Drager VN500, LTV, and Airvo is important.
